Here are the first 3 months. I really need to get things out and start working on them again. It is definitely an album I would like to finish!<br />
<br />
Enjoy....<br />

(and art journaling)Well, I survived our first week of homeschool for the year! <br />
<br />
It was a little messy and not as organized as I had hoped. When we began the week, I still hadn't received my printer, which meant that we could only do certain subjects for half the week until our printer came. After that, we had to cram in everything that needed printing at the end of the week. As unorganized as it was, I still did it! I know I shouldn't be that surprised, since I homeschooled last year, but I am celebrating my victory! <br />
<br />
I spent a little time this morning prepping the printing for next week and I am confident that next week will be even better! Next, I need to address some storage issues or the lack there of. <br />
<br />
I have been thinking of scrapbooking a lot! I REALLY want to work on my project life from our time in Korea and finish it. I also want to try my hand at a mini album. It has been quite some time since I have made a mini! Time hasn't allowed for it recently but I am hoping I will get a couple hours to myself this weekend.<br />
<br />
The girls and I did sit down a couple of weeks ago and do some art journaling!! It was messy but super fun, and the girls did a fantastic job! We used scrapbook paper, tissue paper, ephemra, diecuts, paint, stencils, rub-ons, ultra thick embossing powder, embossing powder, and mist. <br />

Some children have recently started school and others will be starting soon. We plan on starting Monday! I'm excited to get this year started. Over the past week we have taken our placement tests for spelling and jumped into some math. I still have a ton to do, as we are STILL waiting for our printer to arrive. AHHHH.... <br />
<br />
With the school year starting, the start of other activities and sports will begin also. This means busy times for those of us that have school age children. With all the craziness that is about to ensue, it has me thinking about healthy and quick lunch options and how I will keep my house clean! I want to share a couple ideas that we have recently tried out for lunches and dinners. Sometimes life is a lot to juggle, so I will also be sharing our Summer Routine that I am hoping will continue to work for us. <br />
<br />
Some of you know that we were eating a paleo diet before heading to Korea. That proved to be a little more difficult than we thought in Korea, so we are trying to get back into the groove. The first recipe isn't paleo, but still a healthy option.<br />
<br />
The first recipe is from Sara at Dinner at the Zoo.<br />
Her <a href="http://www.dinneratthezoo.com/rainbow-veggie-pinwheels-sesame-lime-quinoa-salad/">Rainbow Veggie Roll-ups</a> are fabulous! Not only are they colorful, but they are delicious too!<br />
<br />
My kids enjoyed helping to make this fun food and, better yet, they liked them. For one of my pickier eaters, I allowed her to pick the veggies she did or didn't want to include in her roll-up, but she had to choose 2. We have also tried these with all the veggies and some ham or turkey.<br />
<br />
<br />
The next recipe is from Kristin at Live Simply.<br />
We tried her <a href="http://livesimply.me/2016/03/30/chicken-napa-cabbage-salad/">Chicken and Napa Cabbage Salad</a> and it was fantastic! The flavor and smell are so good. This is definitely something you could make ahead and eat cold. We will definitely be making this again! <br />
<br />
I would love for you to share some of your go to recipes for those busy school nights!<br />
<br />
Now for the routine. So over the summer, I set up some new rules.<br />
<br />
My girls get up in the morning, we have breakfast and then they are required to brush their teeth, hair, get dressed, make their bed and pick up their room. All pretty standard stuff. I know this next part seems easy and probably isn't a new concept, but it works. They are then asked to read, play board games, draw/color, etc for at least 30 minutes before they are allowed to swim, have tv time, play outside or get on their tablets. My kids usually forget about the time and end up playing, drawing, etc for much longer than asked. This allows me plenty of time to vacuum, sweep, do some dishes and throw a load of laundry in. My house has been clean all summer, including my kids' rooms!! INCREDIBLE! <br />
<br />
Don't get me wrong, there have definitely been days where they need a little persuading. The trick is to be consistent and don't back down! This may change some as we will need to start school work, rather than have free time, but the same rules could apply for after their school work is finished. I'll keep you posted on how it is working through the school year and if we made any changes.<br />
<br />
What routines or schedules do you have in place to help you? I'd love if you'd share them with me in the comments below! <br />

<br />
When we first arrived we visited family back home and that kept us busy. Once we arrived to our home, my mom stayed with us for a couple weeks, we were busy cleaning our home and fixing damage/neglect caused by our renters, shopping for things that we had sold before we left, playdates with friends, meetings for planning homeschool co-op and girl scouts. Now the dust has settled and I am finding that I am pretty lonely and bored............. my house is clean though! haha ;)<br />
<br />
I can't put my finger on it really. Maybe it's just the difference in our lifestyle from Korea to here. While we were living in Korea we were always finding things to do, walking down to shop or to hang out, playing with friends, story time at the library, hula lessons, etc. Although we could and will be just as busy here, especially once school starts, it's different. I find this interesting to even say, seeing as life in the U.S. is go, go, go. I felt that life in Korea was more laid back; however, we were always on the move both in the U.S. before we left and in Korea. Maybe instead of it being a matter of being busy, it's actually the atmosphere I miss. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj65uxb5GbJ6hnWKb4EgIbcYojRjY_9SkH9niEL_rSilY9rsHlE7ZmO7KYMk0XLnhZNRn3xlhxPI-AGMDZnRfsnLyRtwADc3lo3whqaja7WjU8BvGK27veY2pnGl-oCFK_yl5u4GF4GI5hyphenhyphen/s1600/IMG_7581.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; float: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="300" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj65uxb5GbJ6hnWKb4EgIbcYojRjY_9SkH9niEL_rSilY9rsHlE7ZmO7KYMk0XLnhZNRn3xlhxPI-AGMDZnRfsnLyRtwADc3lo3whqaja7WjU8BvGK27veY2pnGl-oCFK_yl5u4GF4GI5hyphenhyphen/s400/IMG_7581.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
All I know is I don't leave to walk to the store and end up out all day with my friends or girls. Instead I sit in a house that I love but with no where to walk, no one to hang out with. I mean I have friends, and we have been meeting up with them often, but life here is different. When you are living in another country, your friends are your family and connecting with them several times a week is just normal. Here your friends have their lives, you have yours, and you talk or see each other occasionally. Is it possible that I just miss the relationships and the connections to people that we had there?<br />
<br />
Whatever the case may be, I'm sure this feeling will pass and life will move on. I will find my groove and get back to it, but isn't it thought provoking how different life can feel after experiencing life in another country for just one year?<br />

I have shared with you once before that I love to try anything crafty so drawing just happens to be one of the things I have tried lately. In my last post I shared that I homeschooled my girls last year. That means that I get to teach art! We did some painting, paper piecing, travel scrapbooking, play with clay, among other things. Some weeks we did drawing. <br />
<br />
I stumbled upon a YouTube channel called <a href="https://www.youtube.com/user/ArtforKidsHub">Art Kids Hub</a> last year and my kids love it! We have drawn several of the things on his channel. What I love about it is that he speaks and draws in simple terms for the kids, he helps them to feel confident in what they have completed and lets them know that mistakes are ok. It's fun that we can all draw the same thing but they can look so different. He has both simple drawings and challenging ones, but they are all for kids. I love that he colors the drawing afterwards and offers videos on how to blend. <br />

Since beginning the videos, I have seen an improvement in their drawing skills, both when they do videos and draw in their free time. Learning how to draw simple lines and shapes has helped them a ton. I think that maybe this year, we can focus on our blending and shading skills.<br />
<br />
This week my girls and I stumbled upon another awesome YouTube channel called <a href="https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3dEvA1is6-0_yuei9iCdEw">Draw So Cute!</a> She does break down the lines, but I feel like Art Kids Hub does a better job at this. She also doesn't pause enough to give the kids time to draw them all the time, lucky for us, we have a pause button! With that said, her drawings really are so cute and the kids have been addicted for the last 3 days! They have drawn animals, fun food, school supplies, princesses, etc. I'm not going to lie, I have become just as addicted! Drawing these cute little things is so much fun and it's something my kids can do with me! <br />

I think that some of these would be so cute on the front of a card and the kids could make it themselves! SO much fun! Whether you have kiddos or not, I hope that you will check out both channels and give it a try! <br />

<br />
So, are you wondering where on Earth I have been? Life took a little bit of an unexpected turn around Thanksgiving 2014! We found out that we were going to be moving to S. Korea for a year in May 2015! What?! Yes, South Korea. That basically put my life in a tail spin and I didn't stop moving until now! Whew! <br />
<br />
I went through every belonging we had and decided it's fate. Would it go to Korea, Storage, Trash or Yard Sale. It was a daunting task but it had to be done. Then packing and prepping for our loooooong flight to Korea, with 3 kiddos I might add. I researched and prepped bags for the plane ride, hoping to keep the girls happy and fed. The flight really wasn't that bad and we started our Korean Adventure.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaBPn8zmylE3zgvUASKgQTDSsB1ruR0eVQZS0wLKQBLfVneN3OGFOGaPJP45I9DqieHxK6f89eWSyyXcC_7JyfQb4koFQxrLasja7oWuQGeO_ux0RXfZFl3eI-KVb828UIgELGCqcpookE/s1600/IMG_2336.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiaBPn8zmylE3zgvUASKgQTDSsB1ruR0eVQZS0wLKQBLfVneN3OGFOGaPJP45I9DqieHxK6f89eWSyyXcC_7JyfQb4koFQxrLasja7oWuQGeO_ux0RXfZFl3eI-KVb828UIgELGCqcpookE/s320/IMG_2336.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>

Korea had its positives and negatives, but overall it was an amazing adventure! I took on the task of homeschooling my kids while we lived there, mostly because I had to, and we tried to see as much as we could. We didn't see everything we had wanted to, but overall we saw some pretty fun things. Homeschooling didn't end up being so bad and it freed up our time to do and see more things.<br />

We have since returned to the states and it has been quite the ride! Another long flight, reuniting with family and friends, setting up house again and shopping to replace some of the things that were sold in the first place. We are all happy to be back home, but do miss Korea. We really did have a great time there, and we made some fantastic friends.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Now we are settling back into our new normal and prepping for this new chapter of our lives. Part of this chapter is that I am homeschooling again! I think I might be half crazy, but my kiddos asked to be homeschooled again this year, so we are going to see how it goes. I'm not going to lie, I LOVE prepping for the school year! All the curriculum and books streaming into our home is like Christmas for me! Maybe I'm a nerd like that. </div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
What about Scrapbooking and crafting? Well, to my surprise I did get started on a project life style scrapbook of our adventures in Korea. I only have a few months done, but I do plan to continue to work on that album or albums so we have our year there documented. I have to say that I very much enjoyed the project life/pocket style scrapbooking. I found that it was easier to squeeze into my busy day and fun to put together. I hope to share some of it in a YouTube video at some point. </div>

What's next for me? Aside from what I've already shared, I'm not entirely sure. I would love to get back into doing YouTube videos. I really enjoyed it and all of you. I would also like to try my hand at blogging some. What do you think? I hope your lives have been as blessed as mine has been this last year or so. </div>

I am missing YouTube and my blog so much, but with little to no time to craft it is impossible to post. I miss it so much, that I am thinking of just posting videos and blog posts about the happenings of my life. Hopefully there will be some crafty shares too!<br />
<br />
So my husband and I are on a new business venture together as of today! We have some training to do tonight and are waiting on some packages. I can't wait to get started! We are super excited to get started and I will definitely be posting more about that later!<br />
<br />
I am also excited to be a member of a team for an upcoming book launch! You will definitely see more on that later as well!<br />
<br />
<br />
Right now I am enjoying spring break with my three girlies, resting and relaxing! My husband and I have been attending two small groups through our church together, one of which is Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University (FPU)! FPU is amazing and I totally wish we would have known about it YEARS ago. We are already implementing some of his suggestions with our kids. It is so cool to see their excitement with earning commissions and purchasing things with their own money! <br />
<br />
<br />
I feel so blessed, grateful and excited for what God has in store for us right now! <br />

<br />
I haven't had much time to craft lately.... okay, I haven't had any time to craft! We have been busy with school, activities and just spending time together. Today we spent some time celebrating St. Patrick's day in a fun way here at home. <br />
<br />
We started out with a fun green breakfast.....<br />

<br />
Today I have some projects to share with you. The first is a set of keychains I created for the September Baubles, Bangles and Beads swap that I host over at YourPaperPantry. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<object class="BLOGGER-youtube-video" classid="clsid:D27CDB6E-AE6D-11cf-96B8-444553540000" codebase="http://download.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=6,0,40,0" data-thumbnail-src="http://i.ytimg.com/vi/ABOKIzaFz_A/0.jpg" height="266" width="320"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/ABOKIzaFz_A?version=3&f=user_uploads&c=google-webdrive-0&app=youtube_gdata" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#FFFFFF" /><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true" /><embed width="320" height="266" src="http://www.youtube.com/v/ABOKIzaFz_A?version=3&f=user_uploads&c=google-webdrive-0&app=youtube_gdata" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true"></embed></object></div>

<br />
Wow, here I am after almost a 4 month break! First off, thank you to those of you who sent emails or messages of concern they are greatly appreciated. My family and I are doing well. Why the long break? Well first it was a vacation home for Christmas, then we when came back home we had to move AGAIN and guess where!? Back to Florida... Oh the joys of being a military wife! I am not complaining though, we love Florida! Once we arrived the hunt for a new house was on.... My friend had her baby, we closed on the house, moved in, started unpacking, the washer went out, bought a new washer and dryer.... The list goes on. We are still trying to unpack, settle in and figure out where everything is going to go. <br />
<div style="text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWH9ac3j2k9n8GZY0wEHC9W429dsBRuFbf-LUywroR8bZ6gGr3qZMqW92DQKZKWyKqK8uYuAyLCo1ud9FyiX4lTcAI2X2BYm-9Or4P7G6ARaaRXTunCflpSagZkvYbkDgsAD9kEExpJo8e/s1600/IMG_1628b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWH9ac3j2k9n8GZY0wEHC9W429dsBRuFbf-LUywroR8bZ6gGr3qZMqW92DQKZKWyKqK8uYuAyLCo1ud9FyiX4lTcAI2X2BYm-9Or4P7G6ARaaRXTunCflpSagZkvYbkDgsAD9kEExpJo8e/s400/IMG_1628b.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br />
In other news, back in December we found out that we are expecting! That meant all through, Christmas, the move and now I have been pregnant. The first trimester and half of the second I was SUPER sick so that put a damper on things. I am feeling better now but do wear down easily. We are so excited for the new addition of our family and can't wait until he or she arrives! <br />
<br />
I haven't done much crafting until these last couple of days. Friday and yesterday I completed 5 pages in a mini album... hopefully it will be completed soon so I can share it with you. I stepped down from Papercraft Star as a design team member. With the move, being sick during this pregnancy and with a baby to prepare for, it was too much. I love my friends at Papercraft Star and will miss it over there but I think my decision was best for myself and my family. I will continue to craft, when I have time ;), and share here on my blog and on my YouTube channel. I am still hosting the Baubles, Bangles and Beads Jewelry swap over at YourPaperPantry! <br />
<br />
Well I suppose that is enough blabbing for now! I hope all is well with all of you! Off to finish laundry... fun, fun!<br />
<br />
Love,<br />

Things around my house are pretty crazy in preparation of the upcoming holidays. I hope things aren't too crazy for you!<br />
<br />
Today <a href="http://www.papercraftstar.blogspot.com/">Papercraft Star</a> opened another challenge! This week your challenge is to include a bell or ornament somewhere on your project, and they have provided us with this beautiful photo as inspiration. (photos are always use if you choose)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilqf64Jo4whi1Pf76DLJnXnn38xDFeVswbA_7BJWW0t6i7IPGuhsNgUX_RO1kBDSKhwVXhCicCoB5Pd3uefu3R4E7UF-JedrMqKUtIfXlx9Rii5AoON9PwGAc8_TYq4Vox3W8w3uYPll1u/s1600/Challenge+75.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEilqf64Jo4whi1Pf76DLJnXnn38xDFeVswbA_7BJWW0t6i7IPGuhsNgUX_RO1kBDSKhwVXhCicCoB5Pd3uefu3R4E7UF-JedrMqKUtIfXlx9Rii5AoON9PwGAc8_TYq4Vox3W8w3uYPll1u/s320/Challenge+75.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I decided to take this challenge literally by creating a couple of ornaments.</div><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I used a glass ball ornament I purchased at Michael's some time ago as my base. After the ornament was dry, I sprayed them with Iridescent Gold glimmer mist to add a little shimmer.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

We have also provided this lovely inspiration photo that is always use if you choose.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTgtw7lLEAIOBy3zatAI2hS0SRjZD5fJDLcLpFN1LD3ViOkSfeGd8vL3_OfoOHMW-jdA7xg97oUCkq-K3hBCnFf34jjl0HX2sH_xYHbCqW_RMzKttDcPisNxO1ECjQ340rPsbV2hJ_MMMp/s1600/Challenge+74.jpeg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="223" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTgtw7lLEAIOBy3zatAI2hS0SRjZD5fJDLcLpFN1LD3ViOkSfeGd8vL3_OfoOHMW-jdA7xg97oUCkq-K3hBCnFf34jjl0HX2sH_xYHbCqW_RMzKttDcPisNxO1ECjQ340rPsbV2hJ_MMMp/s320/Challenge+74.jpeg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I just love Christmas but I have to say it seems to be getting here too quickly! This year has flown by!! For the challenge this week, I created a Christmas card. I am always inspired by multi-media projects on canvases or in art journals, so that was some of my inspiration for this card.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdaIhrlLk5e1IDSi86nsL31kBs_ekmjXwj8kGv23QGsSsPZqLQLFpk6lvuI3psYvNdDHNPvuSitO61AMKbrQHkGK6U1jThojcNAkZI_tCZf3r3mcUFpyQ93pcpwxI2Ns7NzhUlT3ZRxPCQ/s1600/RS_PCS74.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdaIhrlLk5e1IDSi86nsL31kBs_ekmjXwj8kGv23QGsSsPZqLQLFpk6lvuI3psYvNdDHNPvuSitO61AMKbrQHkGK6U1jThojcNAkZI_tCZf3r3mcUFpyQ93pcpwxI2Ns7NzhUlT3ZRxPCQ/s400/RS_PCS74.JPG" width="282" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I used the <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/76589841/text-writing-background-squares-for-card">Text Writing Backgrounds</a> CMS digital sheet from <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/theHouseAcrosstheBay">The House Across The Bay</a> to create my Christmas tree. First I sprayed it with Spanish Moss and Wheatfields glimmer mist to give the image a green and shimmery look, once dry I punched 4 Scallop circles, inked the edges with walnut stain and cut them apart. Layer them up, fluff your scallops and voila, a tree! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIxm1WZQOqJ41qNQG18Fg7X3D0OEz4oB7dXoAazUGZiLBK5xviKMKu3X_pa7c2A0uusGXT-F0VuDyrjt60wNe2ObbMud65wqzOpvYFqhI7tGV3-kypRK3mgM-ZaARpQ-FY4zzDpuPNX1py/s1600/RS-PCS74b.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhIxm1WZQOqJ41qNQG18Fg7X3D0OEz4oB7dXoAazUGZiLBK5xviKMKu3X_pa7c2A0uusGXT-F0VuDyrjt60wNe2ObbMud65wqzOpvYFqhI7tGV3-kypRK3mgM-ZaARpQ-FY4zzDpuPNX1py/s320/RS-PCS74b.JPG" width="213" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I typed my sentiment out on my vintage typewriter, cut them out, inked them and added an outline. The snowy hills were created from a label that I cut out on my Silhouette, cut apart, inked with tea dye distress ink and covered with frost white all purpose ink for shimmer. I am pleased with the way it turned out, and I think it definitely has a similar feeling to a mixed-media piece. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I had some leftover inspiration, so here is an additional card for you.....</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

<br />
Okay, now back to work. lol :) I hope each and every one of you had an amazing Thanksgiving!<br />
<br />
This week <a href="http://www.papercraftstar.blogspot.com/">Papercraft Star</a> has another fabulous challenge for you, a sketch by the talented <a href="http://aidenmak.blogspot.com/">Kim Duran</a>.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjQaCNpDuJUTQBg9_DK9ytDM7yt-v48LpT5J52uvJggiiEmvbke1WGhq93LKV-SjUZLv1To7EqI4XnRE6cshCEY5rvT7BzIb60vwYZAdQva3CJn4-U9grhiNnt7nXllfQMGsZawXrHPMPW/s1600/Challenge+72.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjjQaCNpDuJUTQBg9_DK9ytDM7yt-v48LpT5J52uvJggiiEmvbke1WGhq93LKV-SjUZLv1To7EqI4XnRE6cshCEY5rvT7BzIb60vwYZAdQva3CJn4-U9grhiNnt7nXllfQMGsZawXrHPMPW/s320/Challenge+72.jpg" width="246" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Such a wonderful sketch, and so inspiring! </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">I was also inspired by this crib bedding.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Here is what I created.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjCyDUd-mTK4g7-ua-w13AN8S6jUCsw-LQT5rOB5MO7uz6Iy6Hs3vPjfIRzKvjHZrvm16UFi96_MYAnOjAHg11L2cZKHI_LJVmEhM_vRFPbZ-Z__UyWPVTDzphJMuPekRDb3rn63OzzV47/s1600/RS_PCS73.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjCyDUd-mTK4g7-ua-w13AN8S6jUCsw-LQT5rOB5MO7uz6Iy6Hs3vPjfIRzKvjHZrvm16UFi96_MYAnOjAHg11L2cZKHI_LJVmEhM_vRFPbZ-Z__UyWPVTDzphJMuPekRDb3rn63OzzV47/s400/RS_PCS73.JPG" width="293" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">For this card, I cut the Airplane with Banner using my Silhouette SD. The cloud is hand drawn and cut out by me. I used the <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/76587868/white-grunge-squares-for-card-makers">White Grunge Squares</a> from the Card Makers Series by The House Across The Bay. I did change the image by tinting it blue in <a href="http://picasa.google.com/#utm_campaign=en&utm_source=en-ha-na-us-bk&utm_medium=ha&utm_term=picasa%203">Picasa 3</a> and then printing it out. Just like before when I printed the image in Sepia, this allows you to customize your digital images for more use.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvm4d0VcFYzbblpwmDs4oiHCJmZHlQSAIhDyAvus63RcNQdFKUA-8pOqcj9aiJbBbR4NjEVyPy4dhBtJHVhLIXNsw01eke4GF48kuucPFMdmX2_4beTpxWHOQhJR5TayaX9tBIGzXioOd4/s1600/RS_PCS73b.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvm4d0VcFYzbblpwmDs4oiHCJmZHlQSAIhDyAvus63RcNQdFKUA-8pOqcj9aiJbBbR4NjEVyPy4dhBtJHVhLIXNsw01eke4GF48kuucPFMdmX2_4beTpxWHOQhJR5TayaX9tBIGzXioOd4/s400/RS_PCS73b.JPG" width="266" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I punched the top corners of the card using the scallop corner punch on my corner chomper. I also did some fun faux stitching and doodling to add more interest to the card. I love the way it came out and I hope you do also!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />

This week at Papercraft Star ANYTHING GOES!! :) I always enjoy these challenges because we get to see such amazing work from all of our participants!<br />
<br />
By request of Miss <a href="http://chaiteanme.blogspot.com/">Jan</a>, I made some jewelry featuring the beautiful digital images from <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/theHouseAcrosstheBay">The House Across The Bay</a>. She originally requested a bracelet but I didn't have all the stuff to make the type of bracelet I wanted. Instead I made scrabble tile necklaces using faux scrabble tiles I found at my local Hobby Lobby and the <a href="http://www.etsy.com/listing/60684845/christmas-squares-digital-collage-sheet?ga_search_query=Christmas&ga_search_type=user_shop_ttt_id_5942476">Christmas Squares digital sheet.</a><br />
<br />

<div style="text-align: center;">Here are the planners...</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWEFBpENiJYrWzs_k0PWaplQrsOA9R_zZH2SGrGjekykzGMWYb0CaiP1HYClimPAdz06xl_ar0oVpfV7YyE4ZxmvjSoanG0QOvFfJFt3XThvMY0rj3Sr5Mj0MMvCEzt00N_HZ8jTIcr7oC/s1600/RS_MTTD_YPP.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="193" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWEFBpENiJYrWzs_k0PWaplQrsOA9R_zZH2SGrGjekykzGMWYb0CaiP1HYClimPAdz06xl_ar0oVpfV7YyE4ZxmvjSoanG0QOvFfJFt3XThvMY0rj3Sr5Mj0MMvCEzt00N_HZ8jTIcr7oC/s320/RS_MTTD_YPP.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">and here is the card....</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-Syv43BddP2jGWOi9OPpIbJcOmJox9IC73eLjORmdV_lS8fO9FC2C7M2TQbPw5GKsM9HUbdgHXO9lNI5qteo4C8I8dQxIXqeO0xzD3MznkLQBDZg8AGxhosAjqcdUunLm_AnhqQrxex7G/s1600/RS_wreath11.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg-Syv43BddP2jGWOi9OPpIbJcOmJox9IC73eLjORmdV_lS8fO9FC2C7M2TQbPw5GKsM9HUbdgHXO9lNI5qteo4C8I8dQxIXqeO0xzD3MznkLQBDZg8AGxhosAjqcdUunLm_AnhqQrxex7G/s320/RS_wreath11.JPG" width="227" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I made this card with the same general idea, but instead of corrugated cardboard I used kraft cardstock. I ran the cardstock through my big kick with the wood grain embossing folder by Tim Holtz, then I dry brushed it with white acrylic paint to give it a white washed look. I punched the branches out of scrap paper using the bird and branch punch by Stampin' Up! I traced a circle onto the card and layered my branches up around the circle to create a wreath. Add a bow and some small embellishments and your done! It kind of reminds me of a front door. :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">I hope you enjoyed my post today!</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Thank you so much for stopping by,</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Regan</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
