Papercraft Star - Challenge #13

Beth has a great sketch for us for the challenge this week at Papercraft Star!

You can post your entries for this challenge until Noon EST Saturday September 18th! Voting will begin Saturday and run through Tuesday September 21st so hop back over to the PCS blog to cast your votes!!

For this challenge I went biker! I created a 12X12 layout of my daughter on a motorcycle, too cute! My dad is a big Harley buff so we had these pictures made for him! By combining Beth's sketch, this cute photo and my color combination of black, pink, silver and white we have a Born 2 Ride layout!

This layout was so much fun!

I used black glitter thickers to add some bling and used a circle punch and pop dots to lift the "2" above "born" & "ride" to add some fun dimension!

I had to use this fun zipper trim I found at Joann's! By attaching it with staples, it provided the perfect touch! I also added other punched elements such as this star, the scallop border at the top and the circle border below the photo to accent the page.

Supplies:
Paper: Basic black by Stampin' Up! and metallic silver paper by American Crafts
Patterned Paper: black & white hounds tooth by Stampin' Up!, silver pen stripe by DCWV and the pink patterned paper is from the Mango Frost collection by DCWV
Ink: Pilot choose white gel pen
Tools: 1 3/4 inch circle punch, large & small star punches, and corner rounder punch by Stampin' up! and a small stapler
Other: Black zipper trim, Lax black glitter thickers
