Key Chains and a Mini Album

 Hi there!

Today I have some projects to share with you. The first is a set of keychains I created for the September Baubles, Bangles and Beads swap that I host over at YourPaperPantry.

Here are some photos of those keychains.

I also created a mini album for my sister for her birthday. I was inspired by Heather at StayBeautiful84 and Mari at mnc512.

I have made several scrapbook layouts but haven't had the chance to photograph or make a video of them yet. Hopefully I will be able to do that soon.

Thank you for stopping by!

Faux Scrabble Tile Necklace - Papercraft Star

Hi There! This week at Papercraft  Star ANYTHING GOES!! :) I always enjoy these challenges because we get to see such amazing work from all of our participants!

By request of Miss Jan, I made some jewelry featuring the beautiful digital images from The House Across The Bay. She originally requested a bracelet but I didn't have all the stuff to make the type of bracelet I wanted. Instead I made scrabble tile necklaces using faux scrabble tiles I found at my local Hobby Lobby and the Christmas Squares digital sheet.

Enough rambling, here it is....

I inked the edges of the tiles; the poinsettia with gold Encore ink and the Santa with walnut stain.
I added some gold seed beads to the center of the poinsettia with glossy accents to add some texture and dimension to the piece.  I think they both turned out lovely.

Jan, if you would like one of these please private message me with which one you would like and your mailing address. :)

I hope you will swing by the Papercraft Star blog and join us for this fun challenge. You have until 6:00am EST on Monday November 28th to link up your beautiful creations... See you there!!

Thank you for stopping by and
Have a blessed Thanksgiving!
Regan

October Swaps for Your Paper Pantry

Hi, I hope that you are having a great week so far. This month I participated in a couple of swaps over at Your Paper Pantry.

The first swap is called Many Things To Do and is hosted by Yolanda (yoliebean on YT). This month we were to create 3 Holiday organizers/journals (2 to swap & 1 for ourselves). Our challenge was to make the book with 25 pages or more, have labeled lists and to add our favorite recipe, go to gift or decor idea somewhere in the book.

I used capri sun boxes and white acrylic paint for the covers. To create the ornaments and wreaths, I used punches from Stampin' Up!, then I used my cinch to bind them. Find out more by watching the video HERE.

The next swap was for Baubles, Bangles & Beads hosted by me! This month we did a partner swap. We were to create a necklace for our partner using Tim Holtz products, and this is what I came up with for my partner Anna (afallas72 on YT).

Find out more by watching the video HERE.
I hope you enjoyed my projects today!

Thank you for stopping by,

Happy Mother's Day!

Hi!!

I hope that you all had a wonderful National Scrap booking Day yesterday! I had a blast hopping along with Laura, Gina, Roxy, Yolanda and Kathy at the NSD Ning Ustream Hop!

I wish a very Happy Mother's Day to all you women out there!! I hope you have an wonderful day spent with the ones you love. Pamper yourself today!

With it being Mother's Day and all, I thought I would share a couple of charm bracelets I was commissioned to make. I personalized each of the bracelets by adding photos. The first one is a bracelet for a new mother. I was asked to not make it too chunky and to use white, clear and pearl. I added hints of blue (she had a boy) and silver to give it a little interest and sparkle.

(click the photos to enlarge)

The next bracelet is for a new Grandma!! I have to say this one is my favorite because I love the chunky look. I chose to use brown, black, vintage pearl, vintage buttons and she asked that I used antique gold.

Before they were mailed out, you know I had to wrap them up!

If you missed the bracelet I made for my Mom for Christmas, you can see it HERE!

I hope you were inspired today!

If you missed my post for Unscripted Sketches yesterday, you can find it below this post!

Both are super talented, so I hope you will check out their blogs!
