It's time for another challenge at
Papercraft Star! Can you believe we are on challenge number 18? Time is flying!!
This week your challenge is to create a Thank You themed project using dry embossing, Cricut cartridge or die cuts and metal!!
You can submit your entries for this challenge on the
Papercraft Star blog today through Saturday October 23rd at Noon EST!
The Prize Sponsor for this weeks Challenge is....
with a $15 dollar gift certificate!!!
I chose to create a Thank you card for this challenge.
I used Heavy Duty Aluminum Foil folded in half for my Metal and I chose to dry emboss it using the Diamonds in the Rough Cuttlebug embossing folder. I used Gold and Copper Alcohol Inks to add color to the foil giving it a little more dimension.
I used both the cricut and die cuts for my card. I cut the top note shape using my Accent Essentials Cricut Cartridge. I popped it up on some foam tape and heat embossed my sentiment.
I used the Circles #2 sizzix die to create my brown tulle flower.
I just love the colors and the harshness of the metal mixed with the softness of the tulle!
I hope you will give it a try!
Now for the small print!
