Key Chains and a Mini Album

 Hi there!

       Today I have some projects to share with you. The first is a set of keychains I created for the September Baubles, Bangles and Beads swap that I host over at YourPaperPantry.

I also created a mini album for my sister for her birthday. I was inspired by Heather at StayBeautiful84 and Mari at mnc512.

I have made several scrapbook layouts but haven't had the chance to photograph or make a video of them yet. Hopefully I will be able to do that soon.

October Swaps for Your Paper Pantry

Hi, I hope that you are having a great week so far. This month I participated in a couple of swaps over at Your Paper Pantry. 

The first swap is called Many Things To Do and is hosted by Yolanda (yoliebean on YT). This month we were to create 3 Holiday organizers/journals (2 to swap & 1 for ourselves). Our challenge was to make the book with 25 pages or more, have labeled lists and to add our favorite recipe, go to gift or decor idea somewhere in the book.

I used capri sun boxes and white acrylic paint for the covers. To create the ornaments and wreaths, I used punches from Stampin' Up!, then I used my cinch to bind them. Find out more by watching the video HERE.

The next swap was for Baubles, Bangles & Beads hosted by me! This month we did a partner swap. We were to create a necklace for our partner using Tim Holtz products, and this is what I came up with for my partner Anna (afallas72 on YT).

Pretty Packaging....

Hi! I thought I would share with you how I packaged the cards I made for Papercraft Star Wednesday. You can see that post Here. It was quite simple really... I just stacked the envelopes and cards, wrapped them with pretty ribbon, and tied a vintage button around the excess ribbon to keep it all together.

I participated in a couple of swaps over at Your Paper Pantry, and this is how I packaged those!

I used the pretty vintage bags for the wrapping paper on the book I packaged. I very carefully took one of the bags apart to create one large piece that I could wrap the book with. The other goodies were simple placed in the bag, flapped over and tied up pretty! 

I learned how to make the gorgeous black flower from Rina, ScrapStress on YouTube.

Get your broom and other recent projects

Happy Monday! Today I have a Halloween card to share with you that I made for the August Greetings From swap at YourPaperPantry. 

I mocked this card after my Summer Marilyn card that created for a challenge at Papercraft Star. The ephemera image is from Magic Moonlight and I framed it using the stamp combo Sizzix die. I made the broom embellishment using gold tulle, black crochet thread and a twig from my yard. I am loving to sew on my projects and this card was no different.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Hi everyone and Happy Valentine's Day!! I wanted to take some time today to share with you a 12X12 layout I created for this weeks design team project for I Brake For Stamps. I created this layout using the Valentine's Day sentiment stamp and the sketch for Your Paper Pantry's challenge this month.

I used paper by DCWV, My Minds Eye and 7 Gypsies to create this layout. I cut the hearts using my Accent Essentials and Plantin Schoolbook Cricut Cartridges. I used the Styled Labels Die by Tim Holtz for my sentiment. I used Fired Brick and Tumbled Glass to ink around the edges of my photo and hearts.

I created a photo collage on my computer using photos that I took of my girls today. Here are a couple of them.

Charm Bracelet and Virtual Crop Projects!

Hi! I wanted to share with you the Charm Bracelet I made for my Mom for Christmas. I absolutely LOVE the way it turned out and I think I want to make myself one now! Home For The Holidays Virtual Crop

Join YourPaperPantry as it hosts their Home For The Holidays Virtual Crop on the Your Paper Pantry Ustream, this Sunday, December 5. The fun will be starting at 1:30 p.m. EST and going on into the evening.
Also watch for some of the YPP moderators and members who will be posting special YPP project videos on Saturday, December 4th. All videos and classes will help you get ready for the holidays with home decor and gift-giving projects.

Stick it to me!

Travelogues and Stick-to-it swaps at YPP

Here are my contributions for the Travelogues and Stick-to-it swaps over at YourPaperPantry!! You can see the YouTube video on my channel EmoraDesigns.

My circle journal for the Travelogues swap is themed Hometown Travel Guide!
I am looking forward to seeing it when it returns to me! It should be fun and interesting!

I used 2 chipboard covers for the front a back, 1 lt. weight chipboard piece to make the post card pocket, 2 sheets of Kraft card stock, 1 envelope cut in half and watercolor pages to create the bones of the book. The paper I used is K&Company.

Journal Me This Swap

Hi!

    I am doing the Journal Me This swap over at YourPaperPantry!! If you haven't checked them out, be sure to do that! For the last 3 weeks, I have been getting to know Kim! She is a wonderful person and has been a great swap partner!! After getting to know her, this is what I created for her for our swap. All I have left to do is write my message to her!
