So far I have created 4 mini albums! Four!? Can you believe it!? Today I wanted to share with you a mini album that I made for my friend after she had her third little blessing! You may have seen the other albums I have made her on my YouTube channel.

Key Chains and a Mini Album

 Hi there!

Today I have some projects to share with you. The first is a set of keychains I created for the September Baubles, Bangles and Beads swap that I host over at YourPaperPantry.

Here are some photos of those keychains.

I also created a mini album for my sister for her birthday. I was inspired by Heather at StayBeautiful84 and Mari at mnc512.

I have made several scrapbook layouts but haven't had the chance to photograph or make a video of them yet. Hopefully I will be able to do that soon.

Thank you for stopping by!

October Swaps for Your Paper Pantry

Hi, I hope that you are having a great week so far. This month I participated in a couple of swaps over at Your Paper Pantry.

The first swap is called Many Things To Do and is hosted by Yolanda (yoliebean on YT). This month we were to create 3 Holiday organizers/journals (2 to swap & 1 for ourselves). Our challenge was to make the book with 25 pages or more, have labeled lists and to add our favorite recipe, go to gift or decor idea somewhere in the book.

I used capri sun boxes and white acrylic paint for the covers. To create the ornaments and wreaths, I used punches from Stampin' Up!, then I used my cinch to bind them. Find out more by watching the video HERE.

The next swap was for Baubles, Bangles & Beads hosted by me! This month we did a partner swap. We were to create a necklace for our partner using Tim Holtz products, and this is what I came up with for my partner Anna (afallas72 on YT).

Find out more by watching the video HERE.
I hope you enjoyed my projects today!

Papercraft Star - Anything Goes

Hi! I hope your week is off to a great start. Today kicks off a new challenge at Papercraft Star and it's a fun one! Anything Goes for our challenge this week!

Rilly has some great new digi sheets in her shop theHouseAcrosstheBay including some fun Alice in Wonderland tags. When I saw them, I instantly thought of Graphic 45's Halloween in Wonderland collection. I bought the collection last year and haven't used it! I have to admit that beautiful paper like that tends to intimidate me a bit, but I dug right in and started cutting. Once I started it was easy and the mini album came together quickly. I used several different digi sheets from THATB; you can find a complete supply list at the bottom of this post.

OK, enough of my rambling, let's get to the mini album already!

For the pages with the inset baroque frame, like on the page below, I used Jann's tutorial.

The bottle tag on the page above is a template from House of Stir Fry. The metal edge grunge tag on the bottle tag is by Kraft Outlet.

And just in case you want to know more, here is the video.....

It was such a fun project to create! I hope you will join us at Papercraft Star this week for our Anything Goes challenge and your chance to win some goodies from theHouseAcrosstheBay! Visit the PCS blog to see what the other design team members and this weeks guest designer, Becky Garrison, have created.

Thank you for stopping by,
Regan

Designer Spotlight - Unscripted Sketches

Hi! If this is your first time visiting my blog, welcome!!

If you came here from the Unscripted Sketches blog then you know that today is my designer spotlight! Is this your first stop? Go to the Unscripted Sketches website to learn more about me.

Today is my Dad's Birthday, HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!, so for my designer spotlight project I decided to create a brag book / mini album for my Dad. These are such a great gift idea for anyone!

(click photo for larger view)

I typed the following poem on my typewriter and used it as the title/journaling in the mini.

I'm Thankful For You
You brighten up my life
With memories so fond
When I reach out
You always respond

You're someone I can count on
When I need a helping hand
You're compassionate and loving
You always understand

Oh yes you have your
Off days too
However those days
Are but numbered few

I'm so thankful to have
A grandfather like you
There is no other
Who could fill your shoes
- Anonymous

However, I did not use the phrases in the correct order. I tried to use what went with the photos.

These aren't all the pages but I think you get the basic idea. Remember to visit Unscripted Sketches every day this month for Christmas in July! I hope you enjoyed my project today, thank you so much for stopping by!

Junk Journals and mini albums are all the rage right now, so today I would like to share with you a Junk Journal that I created for my husband for Father's day. To create this journal, I used the Happy Father's Day stamp set by Tradefish designs, some paper, cotton thread, a large needle and an old ABU top!

You will find photos and a video below.
(click photo for larger view)

I used the Happy Father's Day stamp set (TradeFish Designs) to create the gift tag on the front of the journal and for the first entry into the journal.

Nontraditional Baby Girl Mini Album

I have yet another mini album to share with you! This mini is for a baby girl, it measures 5 X 7 and holds 16-20 photos. I stepped out of my box a little on this one and used purple and nontraditional papers. I did zigzag stitching on all of the photo mats and on a couple other places throughout the album.

I used the Little Girls stamp from I Brake For Stamps on a vellum tag in this album to add a fun element!

You will find photos and the video below.

Boy Thing - I Brake For Stamps

Hi all! Today I have a fun project to share with you using the fabulous stamps from I Brake For Stamps! I used the Boy Thing and Numbers Background stamps to make this cute little sports mini album! It would be cute to use the Girl Thing Stamp to create the same project!

I used the Boy Thing stamp on the cover of the mini album as my title.

I used the Numbers Background stamp on the cream page below as well as on the back cover. It worked perfectly with the theme of this album.

I cut images from the collection to use as embellishments as well as some stickers.

I hope you enjoyed my project today. For more inspiration, please visit the I Brake For Stamps Blog.
