This week at Papercraft Star the challenge is to Base your project on (or use as your inspiration) one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World!
My Choice........the Grand Canyon.
I had a lot of fun creating this layout. It brought back a lot of memories and I love the colors!
Using the photos of the Grand Canyon for color and pattern inspiration, I tore and layered the card stock strips to replicate the variegated colors of the landscape.
I embellished the page with some old film (with no picture on it), an old map, a 7 Gypsies post card tag for journaling, and some stamping.
The 4 main photos in my layout are 3 1/4 X 5 and the smaller photos are approximately 1 1/2 X 2 1/8.
Do you want to be the next Papercraft Star? Post your entries for Challenge 15 - Seven Natural Wonders of the World today through Saturday October 2nd at Noon EST. Voting will begin Saturday and run through Tuesday, so remember to hop over to the Papercraft Star blog and cast your two votes!!
