Papercraft Star Challenge 16 - Bugaboo Stamps and a sketch!

It's a sketch challenge at Papercraft star this week with this great sketch by Beth Moore!

You will have until Saturday October 9 at Noon EST to submit your entries!

For my project, I chose the Princess Char Tower image from Bugaboo Stamps! It's such a cute image and I thought that it would be perfect with Beth's sketch! My daughter loves princesses and with my birthday and her birthday in the near future, I thought it would be fitting to create a Birthday card! I had a lot of fun coloring, inking and distressing!

I started by flipping the sketch on it's side.

I used the Basic Gray patterned paper along with the Going Gray card stock by Stampin' Up! to mimic the stones and colors in the tower. I used the diagonals sizzix embossing plate on the card stock and distressed the edges of the pattern paper to give it some texture and dimension.

I don't own any copics....(GASP!!) so I used Stampin' Write markers by Stampin' Up! to color the image. I had a ton of fun coloring!! :)

Then I popped the image up on pop dots.....

and then I stamped my sentiment onto my wired ribbon banner using StazOn and popped it up using pop up glue dots!

Now for the small print!

Supplies:
Card Stock: Pink Pirouette and Going Gray card stock by Stampin' Up! and white printing card stock
Patterned Paper: Basic Gray patterned paper by Stampin' Up!

Wonderful choice of, well, everything ! Spencer and I made crowns from a little punch yesterday, and wore them taped on our foreheads. I do believe I felt quite princess-y. When my daughter was little she had a friend who told me breathlessly that gray and pink was the best color combination EVER. lol It sure is one of the best I think !!
