Happy Veteran's Day and a Christmas Card

Hi and Happy Veteran's Day! I would like to take a moment to Thank those of you who have served or are currently serving in our armed forces! I would also like to Thank the families of those who serve or served as you have served your country as well! A special Thank you to my husband for his service and commitment to his country and to his family! I love you very much!

I plan on doing some kind of craft and lesson with my children today for Veteran's day. What are your plans for today?

I also wanted to share with you another Christmas card. This card that I am going to share with you today was inspired by my card for Challenge 21 for Papercraft Star that I posted here on my blog yesterday.

I used kraft card stock from Kraft Outlet on this card as well! If you haven't checked them out, you really should!

I inked around the edges of the kraft card stock with Walnut Stain distress ink by Ranger and Frost White all purpose ink by Tsukineko.

I used the same technique on the snowflakes on this card as I did on the other except I didn't add bling. I made the poinsettia out of two Prima flowers and a vintage brad from Stampin' Up! I added some lace and pearls and it's done!

Thank you for stopping by!
Regan

From one military wife to another, I say "thank you for what you do"! I think we have a pretty tough job too. Tell your husband that Rick and I say "thank you for serving".

Now about that card, it's very pretty!
I hope you have fun with the kids today. I think I am going to go out and hit some sales to get a little holiday shopping done.
