Now for my project...

I am not one to make New Year's Resolutions. I think it is wonderful to make goals but why wait until the first of the year? I have several goals for 2011 and one of them is to spend more time crafting with my children, so for this challenge we set down at the dinning room table as a family to create these cute little Valentines using the digital stamps supplied by PinkCatStudio!

How cute are these?

For the hearts I used Red felt, Mod Podge, a Cuttlebug Embossing folder and my BigKick. I tried a new technique that I found in the February 2011 copy of Scrapbooks Etc. on pages 58 & 59.

I adhered the owl and branch down to the paper but I put pop dots under the leaves to add some dimension.

Here are the Valentines that my husband and darling daughters made....

The top one is my husband's and the bottom two are my daughters'.

Don't have a reason to make Valentines? How about a Birthday card...

I hope that you will stop by Papercraft Star and upload your entries! I look forward to seeing your projects! for this week's challenge! May 2011 bring you Happiness, Love, Laughter, good health and a TON of FUN!!

Thank you for stopping by!
Regan

Oh Regan, these are just adorable! I love what you all created. I love to craft with Amber. Sometimes the mess is a lot to clean up but I think it's really important to give them the gift of creativity! Loved this so much!

These are so cute! Perfect cards for Valentine's Day. And I will confess that I have my fiance craft with me too. I have him cut out some of my stamped shapes and is just too adorable to see him concentrate while he trims the edges. I love it!
