Happy Birthday - Papercraft Star & I Brake For Stamps

I am so excited to share my project with you this week! Why am I so excited? Well, for two reasons!

1) I was able to combine Papercraft Star Challenge 39 with the wonderful stamps from I Brake For Stamps to create one design team project! Whoop!

2) I am not a fabulous card maker by any means but I am really proud of this one! :)

The Challenge this week at Papercraft Star is a fun one! It's a Simon Says Create a Card Challenge. What is great about this challenge is they give you the measurements and you let your imagination run with it!

Simon Says...
Create a card using the following recipe:
Base: 5 X 7
Mat: 3 X 4 1/2
Add Rhinestones
Add Flourish
Add whatever else you desire

My interpretation...

I used the Numbers Background Stamp on the card base and the Be My Valentine Girl stamp as my main image. I did some paper piecing on her dress and bow to add some interest.

The Green Mat is the mat from the challenge, I added the blue mat to add a little something extra.
I used the Regal Mask by Tim Holtz as my flourish and for the Rhinestone requirement... I used the sequin ribbon on the front of the card and a rhinestone bling for my flower center on the inside of the card.

You have from today until Sunday April 3 at 9:00 pm EST to submit your entries for this challenge. I encourage you to challenge yourself and participate in this Simon Says Challenge! We look forward to seeing your creations over at the PCS Blog!

Wow, Regan, I would be so proud of this one too ! I don't know how you pulled off so many colors and prints - if I had tried it, well, 'nuff said... I was so thrilled this was part of our reveal this week at PCS, as I think it is really really special.
