Spring Banner - Papercraft Star Challenge 41

Spring is in full bloom at Papercraft Star with the opening of Challenge 41!

This week your challenge is to create an Easter inspired project using one or more of these colors.

Easter makes me think of blooming flowers, beautiful butterflies and fresh Spring air, so I decided to bring Spring inside and create a Banner for my mantel.

I cut out the banner shape using my Cricut and the Stand and Salute Cartridge and the letters using the Cuttin' Up Cartridge. To frame out the letters I used the Frames Stamp Combo Sizzix die. This also allowed for me to add more color!

What says Spring better than Prima and Glimmer Mist, so you know I had to add them to my banner! To hang the banner, I added tulle to give it a softness and added some butterfly clips!

I hope you enjoyed my project today! Below you will find a complete supply list and Cricut settings.

To enter your projects for this challenge, head to the Papercraft Star blog and post your projects by 9:00 PM EST on Sunday April 17th. Be sure to stop by my blog or the PCS blog to see my tutorial for Tutorial Thursday!

Thank you for stopping by and Happy Spring!
Regan

Your project proves just why you are the queen of smaller things - tags and banners !

Love the banner, Regan! I just bought some new banner dies and can't wait to create my own. Each piece looks like it's own mini card so I am sure it will be fun to create! I love the fabric ribbon you used. It looks so glitzy!

The banner is mind blowing here but some how I feel like it still require more effort for presentation.
