Happy Birthday - Papercraft Star

It is time for challenge 47 at Papercraft Star! Can you believe that in just a few more weeks Papercraft Star will turn 1!! This weeks challenge is a sketch and it's a fun one!

For this challenge I chose to make a card. I have been wanting to incorporate a fun pinwheel on a project and this sketch was perfect!

I used the Styled Labels Sizzix die to cut the ticket that I have the sentiment on. All I did was trimmed each end and each of the rounded edges of the top and bottom to get this fun ticket shape. I punched two holes using a standard hole punch to slide the pinwheel stick through.

I had such a fun time making these cards!! I even made some pinwheels for my girls to play with! :)
I hope you will join us for the challenge this week. Remember that you can work ahead on the Papercraft Star challenges by visiting the Challenges tab on the PCS blog.

You have from today until 9:00 pm EST on Sunday to submit your entries for this challenge and then voting will begin! I look forward to seeing your entries! Remember to join Papercraft Star everyday throughout the week for tutorials and more inspiration!

Mark your Calendars, Papercraft Star will be having their 1 year anniversary blog hop in June!!

Thank you for stopping by!
Regan

Regan, I needed this pinwheel die a while ago for a challenge. I wish I knew they had a die for this back then. Oh well!

This card is just too much fun. My kids would have a blast with a pinwheel card!

I love the card! I would like to know how a card like that is mailed without completely destroying it? thanks for any hints!
