Papercraft Star - Challenge #14

We are playing a little Simon Says over at Papercraft Star this week!

The instructions were as follows:
 Make a Card
Base: 5.5 X 5.5
Mat: 5 X 5
Score Mat 5 times at 1/4 inch
3 flowers from Die Cut or Punch
3 Buttons and Twine

So Simon inspired me to create this fun Fall card....

For the flower I used the tattered florals die. Instead of using my flowers individually, I decided to stack them to create one larger flower.

In order to use the three buttons, I added one to the center of the flower and dangled the other two buttons by threading them through the hemp. I tied a simple knot so that they wouldn't slide off.

As for the scoring, I used the lines to create an accordion fold. This allowed for more dimension on the card.

I also added a 5 X 5 mat to the inside to write and stamp your sentiment on.

I hope that you will play a little game of Simon Says with us this week at Papercraft Star!

You have from today through Saturday September 25th at Noon EST to upload your entries for this challenge. Voting will take place Saturday through Tuesday September 28th.

I thought about maybe folding them, but I just couldn't do it. I wasn't sure how it would turn out, but you did an excellent job! Way to go! Love that you are bold and willing to step out of the box!

Thank you Catherine! I have another idea with the folds. I may try it out if I get some time!
