Papercraft Star - Challenge 17

This week at Papercraft Star
we are giving you a little photo inspiration!

All the circles really caught my eye in this photo, the lanterns in the top right corner and the circles on the table cloth. When I saw sketch #124 from Creative Scrappers with this photo inspiration from Papercraft Star in mind the ideas started flying and turned itself into this "Doggone Scary" layout!

By flipping the sketch upside down the circles around the photo area was moved to the top right corner and I was left with all the room at the bottom to mimic the circles in the table cloth. The circles also help to highlight my little Dalmatian's spots!! :)

I used a Coluzzle and 3 different circle punches to cut out all my circles. I popped some of the circles up on pop dots at different heights to give the layout some dimension!

I used the Diamonds in the Rough Cuttlebug embossing folder on the piece of silver card stock and then sanded it to make it stand out. I also sanded the foil letters to take away some of the shine and then inked them with some Basic Black ink by Stampin' Up! to soften them.

This was such a fun layout and I hope you will give it a try!!

You can post your entries for this photo inspiration challenge at Papercraft Star now through Saturday October 16th at Noon EST! Be sure to come back by Papercraft Star to cast your vote for your favorite project Saturday through Monday October 18th at midnight EST.
