Papercraft Star - Challenge 33

Hi everyone! I hope you had a wonderful Valentine's Day and are having a great week so far! Today challenge 33 opens at Papercraft Star! This week we have a great sketch for you by Liz Chidester!

Now for the project I created using this weeks sketch. We have been doing a lot of cards a PCS lately and I am more of a layout girl, so I took this weeks sketch and made a 12X12 Layout. I pulled my inspiration from the layers and tags in the sketch.


I brought out the trusty sewing machine to stitch around the edges. I used some recollections brads to dress up the tags and added a doily for interest. The title is adhesive backed chipboard by K&Company.


I distressed the edges using my fingernail! I used one of the sentiments from the Bedtime Story stamp set by My Favorite Things. It has special meaning as that is what my girls and my mom say to one another.
