Unscripted Sketches - Sketch 105

Wow, I can't believe it has been over a week since my last post! Things have been a little crazy around here with our two week trip home, car trouble and sick kids! I appreciate the calls/emails from my scrappy friends that were worried! *Hugs* Also, thank you so much for all your kind comments on my posts and videos! They are appreciated more than you know!

Today is the beginning of sketch 105 at Unscripted Sketches! I was hoping to finish up my "Celebrate" mini album series but with sick kids I haven't had much time to be in my craft space, so instead I made a couple of cards for Mother's Day and Father's Day.

Here is the sketch for this week.

Here is my interpretation of the sketch.

I had fun creating these cards! I used Ruby Red card stock from Stampin' Up as the base of my card and other than the Kraft card stock, all the other papers were in my scrap box!! I used my BigKick and my Lots of Tags Sizzix dies to cut the layers and I adhered those with pop dots. I inked the card using tea dye, walnut stain, and wild honey distress inks and for some added interest I did some sewing on the card and added a gear. I love the way they came out!

I hope you will join us for this weeks sketch at Unscripted Sketches!
Please come back by over the next few days, I have more fun things to share!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
