Back to School with Papercraft Star / I Brake For Stamps

Hi! First off I would like to welcome the newest members of our Papercraft Star design team, Anitra and Jennifer! I look forward to getting to know you and working with you at PCS. Please visit the blogs of these talented ladies and give them a warm welcome.

It is Back to School at Papercraft Star! Your challenge this week is to create a project with a back to school theme and or use the picture as your inspiration.

I used the theme this challenge to create a cute vintage back to school card.

I used the Write Stuff CMSA (card makers series) 4 inch squares for the background of the card. For the chalkboard I used one of the Vintage photo frame backgrounds. Both are from our wonderful permanent sponsor theHouseAcrosstheBay!

I did some machine stitching and some paper piecing to add some interest to the card. The stamp is the Be My Valentine Girl stamp from I Brake For Stamps

Be sure to use coupon code SAVE10REGAN when shopping IBFS to save 10% off your order at checkout!

I hope you will play along with us this week for the fun Back to School challenge at Papercraft Star!

Thanks for stopping by,
Regan

A delightful and charming card !! I was blown away the minute I saw it - completely reminds me of when I was in 1st grade. Papercraft Star is so lucky to have you, Regan !!

Cute CUTE!! We both went for that manuscript background this week, but our cards look nothing alike. Our digi downloads sure lend themselves to a wide variety of uses don't they. Love the chalkboard made with the frame. Terrific idea! :-)

Looks like I am the only one that didn't use the alphabet from the card series. Now I really wish I had. I just love it. This is really one sweet little card. The little girl is darling!
