Happy Wednesday! Today challenge 58 opens at Papercraft Star which just happens to be a photo inspiration challenge!
I just love this photo! The colors are super fab and I love the window frame, so I decided to create a card using those things as my inspiration. I used the 1 X 2 fabric dominoes digi sheet from theHouseAcrosstheBay to add the perfect patterns and colors to my card for the inside of the "window frame."
I used a background stamp from the ATC #1 stamp sheet from I Brake For Stamps on the base of the card. I painted a mustard colored card stock with tattered rose distress crackle paint, along with some misting and inking, to give the "window frame" a weathered wood appearance.
I added a punched bird and branches, crochet flower with vintage button and a tag with a stamped sentiment to finish off my card. I punched the bird out of a digi print (Write Stuff ATC) from theHouseAcrosstheBay.
I hope you enjoyed my project today. Come play along with us at Papercraft Star!

Wow! beautiful window!...I love the birdy, crochet flower and sentiment...I am totally inspired :)
Miss Regan, you picked a great photo for us to use for this challenge. I couldn't decide which part of the photo I wanted to use so I went with the banner. But now I wish I went with the window like you did. I love how you used a mix of colors and papers. So so so pretty!
It's wonderful! I love the multi panel look and that was really clever to punch the birdie out of another digi image! Beautiful card!
I am with Liliana on this one, and Kim too, and oh Tracy too! Now I want a second chance to use that photo !! You really accomplished the inspiration part for all of us I think. Great job!
Such a pretty card. I just love the little bird at the window. The sunflower is the best part though :)
Gorgeous. I love all of the different patterns and the adorable little birdie. :)
